Strain Busy Sky is a rock, blues and funky grooves roadside revival. This is music that moves you, body and soul. Sharing stages over the years as an opening act for Ben Harper, Relentless 7, Government Mule, Cake, Gavin Degraw, Yellowcard, Josh Kelly, Gomez, Sugarcult, Talib Kwelli, Michelle Branch (The Wreckers),Blues Traveler, Bare Naked Ladies, Blessid Union of Souls, Tantric, Black Crowes, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and many other national acts that have appeared on on Billboards top 15 at the time the band played with them.
-SBS ,at one time or another, has sold out every venue they have played in their hometown of Chicago, from the House of Blues to the Cubby Bear.
-The band supports many charitable organizations and has headlined a variety of events for the Y-ME Foundation , AIDS Ride, Gold Star Families of New York, Special Music By Special People & The Children's Literacy Foundation, As well as many local fundraisers for friends of friends in need.
